This mod is a red hat mod that cepiatone and I worked on together ( we go to the same school ) we dubed it "Redmod"
the system is running an intel celeron (uknown speed) a western digital hard drive (30 gig) 128 ram, samsung cd-rw.

unfortunatly there is no work log but we do have before and after pics (if you need help the before pics are the beige pc pics ^^)

This was a big learning experiance with a curve that looks like Mount Everest. some things we know the hard way to avoid, rivits and plexi thats slightly off.. forgetting which way the fans were when we mocked up the holes in the top.... and how gross plexi tastes when grinding it down to fit.

... a point or three to know we are aware of the crack in the side panels lower plexi fitting, and the various paint chips (it has been on display for a weekend or so before the pics were taken) as well as the crappy system (it was donated by the school and we are too broke to afford better right now)

>>edit<< imgs have found a new home

No, it doesn't work. I "let it load" and it did not work. Bad web page design. If the designer actually wanted people to visit the site he would design it for simplicity and makes sure it WORKS before putting it on the web and posting it.

Why didn't you give a direct link in the first place? Post a direct link and redo your page. It obviously doesn't work for everyone.

[edit]HAHA! You are hosting on geocities?

Could use a painted/stealth drive. Your wires inside are pretty clean already; you just need a little effort and it'll look really good. The windows is quite nice. Well done there.

Looks good. paint or stealth the optical drive. route fan wires along case edge. Get a flad IDE cable for the optical, then fold it over the mobo edge and run it up the back side.

I like the cover with holes, I in fact need two of those about now and suck at drilling. if only i had a press...

yes, if any of you didnt notice there is a hard drive. even though its running linux. and as of the wires, some of those wire had to be spliced because we had to gut some psu fans for the case fans. The floppy and hard drive holder was gutted to give it a more cleaner look. other than the crack on the bottom plexy I think it turned out good.

Wow man, very nice job on the window. I havent see that before. You really should paint up the CDROM tho so that its the same red as the rest. Otherwise, fantastic!
