Setting up a HTPC with the old bones of my e8400 computer. I did have a few questions, about what i should look at getting to keep this build as quiet as possible. I know that currently it has a Xigmatek HDT-S1283 for the heatsink, and that i was using two radeon 4870's.

What kind of options do i have in terms of reusing the parts out of my old pc. I do know that currently it is too loud for any htpc. I would be intrested in replacing the parts and even the case if it is not too much of a price cost.

For the most part I would be using it to run powerdvd12, and also netflix/web brousing/twichtv/youtube. I don't see much point in using it for any gaming with just building a computer dedicated to it.
