first firmware update

my internet connection is constantly crashing (about once every half and hour ) on my computer none of the other computers on the network seem to suffer from this ...i ran multiple spy/addware scans and scanned with nod32....nothing found tried highjackthis here are results...Running processes:

.........i think the router is the issue so how do i update firmware? :D
 
Firmware upgrade procedures for a router firmware upgrade should be thoroughly documented in your router's user manual and on the manufacturer's website.
 
Sure its a hardware issue?



Only time I've ever had that sort of almost predictable disconnecting, it was caused by a faulty groundwire on my cable line outside.
 
you know might be right ..although the cable is run through the walls


its hard to say. there could be a number of aspects that could go wrong
