First attemp at the mod thing

Well i have had a hell of a lot of free time at the moment due to (Long Story) so i had to find thigs to do. I found loads of guides and pics on modding so thought i would give it a bash. i really just wanted the pc to be silent and not have millions of wires all over the place.

I decided to get a new case, went to maplin and got this budget icute case. I didnt want to get an expensive one for my first go incase i screwed it up. I spent weeks sleeving and hiding wires. Then i would get a new fan and would have to hide them all again.

All in all i have 6 case fans and then a cpu and gpu fan. They can all be slowed down one way or the other through a thermaltake fanbus and other controllers. I have 3 blue lights, a uv light for my uv reactive ide cables and a multicoloured light because i didnt read the box correctly!!!.I also spent some time painting the case, not sure y i chose orange 4 the inside but it works.

I then found that with all those lights and fans my psu wasnt maintaining so i got an old 300watt i had lying around, painted it and ran a bunch of cables outside the case to the molex connectiors. Well i hope my link to the pics work as this is my first time posting pics. If u want the specs of the pc just shout. Please let me no wat u think and any suggestion would b great. PS im a complete cs source nut so had to get the cs fan grills :D

Ateam, compliments on a job well done.... like the comp. wallpaper too


slamgoku, my rig looks a lot like your setup, although i wish i had the full window on my side panel instead of a half window
