...having noticed the "Digital Artwerk" section as of last week (seriously), I thought all non-computer stuff was in GenMay...

Anyway...onto the good part. This is what I imagine a Terran Battlecruiser Mk II would look like (this has nothing to do with StarCraft II). After the first fleet is destroyed, the Navy orders a redesign, and this is the result.

Note that these are "finished" models that I plan to only make minor additions to (based on constructive critiques). Further, texturing is not possible right now because my desktop is currently out of commission and for some reason 3ds max 9 won't run under Vista. The models were made in Rhino 3D 3.0, a NURBS program.

I personally have an easier time modeling in NURBS, blocky or smooth. I'm betting you're thinking "NURBS is for smooth stuff." I use it for everything I do, I don't like vertex-based box (or other shape) editing...
