Firewire hub suggestions

I'm looking for a Firewire hub that will let me have all my device connect and powered when I have it connected to my 4-pin Firewire port on my laptop. I've got an external HD, and an iPod that needs to be able to be powered, so I'd prefer a 4 port or something small like that. I recently tried to go the cheap route and purchased a Linxcel 4 port USB + 2 port Firewire combo hub, only to find out that it either doesn't power the actual Firewire ports, or it was a defective unit. RMA'd that, but I still don't have a solution. Any suggestions?
