FireGL V7200: Good for gaming?

[NotSoSimple]

First, I know nothing about ATI.

Second, anyone know if a FireGL V7200 would be decent for gamimg? I can pick one up free from work. She will be playing some Oblivion, *maybe* TF2. Dosnt have to be cranked, just needs to play them decently.

Thoughts?

Its a workstation card so its hard to say.

I believe it will performs similar to a X1600, so resolutions of 1280x1024 will be ok in lower detail, and 1024x764 maybe medium detail.

I would not buy one now if you are planning to, if you already have one then carry on

No, that particular cards OpenGL support (IIRC) is pure crap.

Workstation cards don't play games as well as their equivalent gaming card.
