Being new to mac i have one small problem. I install and imported all my bookmarks, that part is working fine. Now on windows PC when i click on address bar or search bar, it is automatically highlighted and i can just type new search or address and old address will just be erased. On mac I notice in both Safari and Firefox i have to manually delete old address or search and then type new. Is there way to make Mac Firefox do the same?

You can triple click the address bar and it will select all. Don't know how to turn on (if even possible) single click select all.
One annoyance I have with firefox on mac is that the mouse gesture add-on doesn't seem to work properly. I can't configure gestures... It would just... freeze the add-on's config window when I try to remap gestures to different functions. Works flawlessly on windows.

To automatically select everything in the address bar with one click, you need to edit the about:config
Click the address bar and go to about:config, then look for browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll and toggle it so it says true.

Is this on an Intel Mac? You'd probably see a performance boost using the Intel specific builds from http://www.beatnikpad.com/archives/2007/03/29/firefox-2002
Firefox for Mac is called Camino

The nightly builds have a lot of features that the standard version lacks. It's a slick browser.

Minus all the extensions... which is what makes FF great...
I found that I can get pretty much everything I need with camino plugins @ http://pimpmycamino.com/
Sadly there is nothing like firebug or web developer extensions in Firefox but I'll live.

Well the Intel specific FF build at http://www.beatnikpad.com/ with the aqua-form widgets and then the GrApple (UNO) theme and it looks just like Safari with the performance and expandability of FF.
