----SOLVED----
On the website gogreek.msu.edu visitors using Firefox on a Windows PC do not correctly see the font "Symbol" (using the latest version of Firefox; displays properly in Firefox for Mac).

Does anyone have a solution for this? The only solutions Google offers involves fixing the browser on *your* computer, not making the font correctly visible to all viewers.

Best regards!

There's not really a solution to this, as any choices you make on style/layout/etc. relies on the client's browser on having the necessary materials/files/etc. to display it. And this varies from browser to browser.

I think the better solution is to find an alternate font that will work with the browsers people are using to view the MSU website.

As an aid to your testing, you can use this website to see how a public website Url appears in different browsers across different OS'es:

And slightly off-topic ... My web developer plugin for Firefox noted a CSS error you have on line 135 of "source.css". Change "strong" to "bold" for the font-weight setting, and that should fix that error.
