How come when I have the FF window open my mouse movement is so slow. Than when I have, say Winamp or my desktop or anything else selected my mouse movement is faster? Is there a way to make the movement the same as the movement as all my other applications? I dont think this was a problem before. I'm thinking its the newer version of FF or something. Im using v. 2.0.0.12

I also have a MX510 a red one, and under WinXP i use Mouseware v9.8, then u go to control panel, mouse and select the acceleration you want, and there you go. Sometimes the acceleration and general mouse settings (like the config of different mouse buttons) just turns off. weird but it happens, a quick reboot and it's fixed.

Now if u use Vista, Mouseware is not officially supported, so u can try downloading the last version of SetPoint, it will not recognize your mouse but you'll still be able to configure it.
