Well, I moved into a new apartment just recently and I am on my own so I figured I would try Verizon's 3mb DSL connection instead of Comcast since Comcast is overpriced. ALthough, I seem to be having problems, I don't know if it is connection related or browser related.
I always have used Firefox. Here is an example, if I have a Firefox window open and an IE window open and go to NewEgg's site. Firefox will time out the load time, and IE will load almost instantly. Both have the same settings. This never used to happen at my old house with the cable connection and I just don't understand the problem. Some sites will indeffinately load in both browsers. Some site will load some pages fine, then certain links will just not want to go through.
It's very annoying and I just don't know what it is. I am not downloading anything when this happens and my firewall has even been disabled.
