Firefox has weird search engine that just appeared...

I just noticed that when I open my firefox, instead of it opening to my set homepage, it is opening to this link...

I have no idea where this came from. I haven't installed anything new recently that I can think of. I ran malwarebytes and it quarantined these items...

What am I missing? How do I get rid of this?

I take it you were not running NoScript? Not that that would have prevented it necessarily

Not, I wasn't running that. I think I got it though. I ran adware cleaner and it seems to have gotten rid of it. Yikes. I was worried for a minute.

Most likely some site you visited had a redirect to some popup that was infected.
Clear them out then run a full system scan to see if they are gone.

If your AV has a pre-OS boot scan option run that too to catch it before it loads.

PUP are also included in many free programs, sadly Crystaldiskmark and info have them.
I let MWB grab them before the program installs.

I would second this action, and relegate Windows to just gaming. For everything else, there is Ubuntu or other modern Linux distro. Run Windows in a VM for productivity applications if you need to. And try not to surf the web on Windows. Less headaches.
