Mozilla has cranked out yet another version of Firefox, making 2.0.0.11 the third release in a month. The latest update fixes a problem the previous version had with displaying images.

The open-source Web browser update arrived swiftly after version 2.0.0.8, released October 18, version 2.0.0.9 from November 1, and version 2.0.0.10 from November 26. Which explains why I'm getting a lot of software update messages from my Web browser.

Does anyone else experience Firefox "crashing" while browsing images? Quite frequently I find my Firefox window disappearing from the taskbar after processing an image or something. It's rather annoying. Was hoping a patch would fix it, but maybe it's just something I'm running into.

The only problem I have with firefox on one of my computer is that when its updating it always fails because theres always two firefox.exe running in task manager. I would have to end its task so the patch could apply.

To me, it's an annoyance that can easily be worked around. To anyone else with less computer smart, it could be a game breaker.

Kudos to firefox for their continuous bug squashing. I would rather have patches for critical flaws and vulnerabilities as soon as they are ready. If that means there are several minor version releases per month, so be it.

Good job Firefox team, keep up the great work in building and maintaining the best web browser - hands down.

Cheers.

they should have added speed dial, like Opera.

I m sure there is a plug in but to make it available in the official release version would be nice.
