FIrefox Cache Q's

I'm trying to find the Firefox cache files on Windows 7, but cannot. I type in about:cache and only see the memory cache, not disk cache.

The default answer on the Internet is C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxx.default\ ... but there is nothing in that folder other than offline cache and a few things.

Is disk cache disabled by default? Where is the "Cached Web Content" setting data stored at then? In memory?
