Does anyone else have a problem when needing to log back into Yahoo and Firefox does not go to the login when you refresh it?

In case you're not following me:

Yahoo mail is open in a window. You go to click to check mail and it comes back saying you have to login.

Instead of taking you to the login for Yahoo it doesn't and just stays on the same page. I have retype from mail.yahoo.com to get it to go to the login.

Is there a fix for this or is it a small bug in the code?

No duh.

I'm talking about refreshing it like I can do with IE and it automatically takes you back to the login prompt. Firefox is not doing that.

Firefox does that for me as well, sometimes. The only solution for me is to 'X' it out and just retype the address.

If Yahoo is using some kind of strange JavaScript like Hotmail does, it is preventing FireFox from performing what you want it to. You could try installing the extension for FireFox called "Hotmail Tabs" (I think). It fixes alot of discrepencies wen using Hotmail.

I'm not sure, this could be way off base. I don't use Yahoo.

"No duh."

Anyway, it doesn't do that for me, it works just fine. I have 1.0.1

"No duh." is a product of fear.

what about when you click "check mail" instead of refreshing the page?

Actually it's the fact that neither one of you read what I typed in the beginning.

At least one other person has the same problem that I'm talking about.

And I am using FF 1.0.1. It happened in the last version also.

Maybe I may have to go into my options and find something there that prevents such a thing from happening. Maybe it has to do with cache memory. I do clean out my crap usually all the time and I haven't really noticed much problems. But to say the least, this problem is VERY minor so I have little to say about this. If your computer is smooth and fast enough, you can always X it out and re-type it in. :)

By the way, your geocities website doesn't work.

Check it out.

Im beginning to think it is cache since I use 3 different computers and at least one of them isn't have the problem. The one I'm on right now I just had to do a relogin and I tried a refresh on it. At least one works. Go figure.

Guess I'll try clearing it.
