I found this very funny.

I did a clean install and put SP2 on the pc. I then proceeded to go and download all of my files and such that I needed, and I decided to try Firefox.

When I went to the download page for firefox, I was given a message saying that windows had blocked downloads from that site :)

I laughed. It's kinda ironic that it happened, unintentional as it may be.

Thats part of IE6's new popup blocking and active-x blocking features.

If you want to download it, you should see a bar pop up at the top of your browser window. Just click on that and go to download file... and it will pop up a download prompt.

You'll notice that if you use IE with SP2 installed, it will do this on a lot of sites.

Yeah, I should have taken a screen shot.

Also, I got it downloaded, was pretty simple.

I still decided to go back to Crazy Browser ;)

Tell me more about these new features of IE6.... as I and many more will never use it since we switched to firefox!!!

I think that's what we rednecks call "A day late, and a dollar short." :D
