Anyone know why multiple cards are active when firefox is running? I'm sure one 7970 is more then enough when looking at google.com. Maybe a setting I am overlooking?

its due to the hardware acceleration and the fact that the drivers are setup to use both cards for hardware acceleration. just go into the settings on firefox and disable it.
