If you thought you were safe from the animated cursor flaw because you use Firefox, think again. According to the VP of engineering for Mozilla, Firefox users are also vulnerable to animated cursor exploits on unpatched Windows PCs.

There had been some initial confusion as to whether the bug in Microsoft's Windows operating systems would affect Mozilla's open source Firefox browser. And now it appears it does, said Mike Schroepfer, VP of engineering for Mozilla.

And this surprises people why? I mean, it is still Windows that is affected by this bug.
 
Not that the Firefox zealots out there would have used this to discredit Internet Explorer... :rolleyes:
 
Since it is apparent that the first vulnerability has to be Windows, I'm betting that most or all browsers are at risk.
 
This exploit has Already Been Fixed.

just update windows.
