The comp in my sig is having fits about getting on line for the past three days. One minute it will launch just fine the next it wont. Doesn't matter if I try IE or Firefox. When I ran the "network diagnostics for Win XP" it tells me to "Check the firewall settings for the HTTP port(80), HTTPS port(443) and FTP port(21)." I've gone into my security center menu (control panel) and clicked on restore default. It will usually work again for a minute or two, then not again. Ive got 2 others working from the same router with no probs, as well as wireless, just the one comp being a PITA. What am I missing??? Any suggestions would be welcome.

Is your computer directly connected to the internet, or to a router?

Try pinging your local computer, then the gateway when you are having issues.
