Finished my first WU!

Congrats, and welcome. I am returning to the fold myself. Good to have you here.

Grats and welcome! Are you running the SMP client? I hope so with that E8400, utilizing both cores on an E8400 should put you in the 2500 to 2800 PPD range if you OC.

Also everyone here is really friendly so if you need help with anything ask! :)

Welcome to the [H]ardest team in the world. Be prepared to get addicted a lot and spend uncontrollably on new boxens ;)

This was on my laptop. I still have to set up the SMP on the e8400, seems I am having some problems getting it to recognize username/password.

He is not joking... I've added two Quad Boxen in the last two or three weeks...

My goal is not to be the top producer, but a solid daily producer for the team, top 20 for sure!

Did you read the readme file? You have to have Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework installed then run install.bat and finally once that is successful run the client.

I almost breezed by that when I first installed the SMP.

Make sure your laptop has plenty of ventilation, cuz most are not meant to be run at 100% CPU usage. I'd hate for you to burn it out. :)

Welcome!

Make sure you get your badge (see below) and the Folders Anonymous meets Tuesdays :p

When I run install.bat and enter my username and password, I get the -1 error.

I run the laptop at 50%, I can't even tell the program is running.

Welcome to the team! I just added an 8-way Xeon server, myself. Just seeing the spike in the production history gives me a good feeling. :D Stick around!

If installing the SMP client in Vista be sure to disable UAC first. You can turn it back on after the install is complete.

And welcome to the team.

Damnit sunin, I don't think I can catch up to you...:(

To the OP (not that it really matters), welcome to the team.

Welcome to the Team! grab a beer and take a seat, once your addicted theres no going back so get comfortable :)

Congrats & welcome back!

Please do not hold us responsible if your wallet attempts to slit your throat.

Just wait until I add another 4.5k PPD this week! :) Going to try twin windows SMPs on that box and I bought a TRUE cpu heatsink so I'm hoping for over 3.6ghz...

Then I'm taking a break from purchasing for a while unless I can find a quad 45nm for reasonable.

Welcome!!

I myself just started folding a few days ago as well. I'm using this as an excuse to learn VM & Linux. I had a linux box running on VMWare, but made a small change and hosed it Now trying to figure out how to get to where it was working :)

Congrats on that first unit. The more you have, the more addicting they get. ;)

Welcome aboard the [H]ard Train.

Welcome to capreppy too.
