Hi guys,
Would it be possible for mods, on locking someone's account, to put a message in their sig or something, stating why they were banned? Several times I've seen someone whose nick I recognize around the forum with "Banned" instead of their normal cheery title, to my shock and amazement. Searching their posts usually finds a reason, but sometimes it's not obvious to the non-mod what went on. Some indication of what happened to them, visible to the normal people (well, okay, normal people are in short supply here
) would be nice.
Suggestions? Criticism, constructive or otherwise? The PM box is open, or email if that's your cup of tea.
PS: The one I noticed this time is dave_graham, Opteron seller extraordinaire and generally knowledgeable guy. His profile also lists 2 posts, while he's got more than that - is something wrong with the DB, or did he get "discredited" for posts he made?
