I ordered a bunch of stuff to put together my first watercooled setup and this I made an annoying goofup. I needed to order two 1/2"id fittings for my waterblock that had 3/8" fittings and think I'm only getting 1 fitting tomorrow. I order this from www.Dangerden.com http://www.dangerdenstore.com/product.php?productid=70&cat=34&page=1 Is there any place local I can get 1/2 id fittings with 9/16-18 threads local? Or am I going to have to wait more as I order 1 little fitting?

Hard to tell you where to get parts "locally" when we don't know where you live!!! :p

J/K

I recently ordered a WC kit that came up short on barbs (and other minor stuff)... they sent me replacements no problem but I had to wait for the damn mail!
Anyway... while I was waiting for my missing parts to arrive, I went to everyplace I could think of looking for barbs.

I tried, Walmart, SuperWalmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, Ace Hardware, Fireplace & Spas (they carry pond supplies), and other plumbing stores. Lowes had the best selection of fittings/barbs, but nothing in the sizes I needed.

I recently discovered that a company called US plastics carried Tygon tubing and barbs/fittings, went to the website and WOAH!!! they're located in my home town! I'll be taking a trip out there tomorrow to see if there's anything interesting I can dig up.

Good Luck in your search.... I know how it is when you want to complete your project, and have to wait for delivery of parts. Sometimes you can get lucky looking locally, other times, people look at you like you have snot dangling from your nose (don't know what the hell you're talking about)

Thanks for the responce your saving me the time and gas of running around and looking for barbs. Im pretty bummed I won't be able to set up my first water cooling setup this weekend but i'll survive lol.
