I can finally put together my system. I just recieved the OS, and floppy drive for the SATA drivers. Here's what I got. I'd like to thank those of you who helped. Here's the specs:

1. AMD barton 2500+
2. Abit NF7-S
3. Mushkin level 1 pc3200 2x512
4. Sapphire Radeon 9800 pro
5. WD Raptor
6. Viewsonic 19" G90F
7. antec P160 W/ 2 120mm quiet fans
8. Antec True power 430
9. Lite-on 16x dvd
10. Kenwood 72x
11. lite on dvd burner coming soon.

thanks

I think I'd drop the Kenwood drive, since the DVD can read CDs. Other than that, it looks good. That way you have a slot for the LiteOn DVD.

well I just had the kenwood laying around, so....anyways, I have four slots for drives, and I am not going to be using any IDE HDDs, just SATA.

Keep the Kenwood...It's an awesome piece of classic hardware, that'll still beat DVD/CD drives in CD read times.

Yeah, you have to keep one of the old drives around...just for old times sake. And faster too for CD ROMS.

Yes, definitely get the mobile.

I wish I had, but when I bought my 2500+, the mobiles were not at all popular or available at a reasonable price.

Eh, I think it's a little too late, considering he said he already got the parts. I wouldn't think RMAing the CPU just to get a mobile would be worth the wait + a restocking fee.

Good choice on parts, should be a nice little system :)
