I am saviong the last months to build a new PC. I use it for developing programs in java and gaming. As prices are really high here in Brazil buying these part may be a real pain. So I need something that may be upgradeable the next 2-3 years, i. e. which doesnt make me buy practically everything again as now ;-) I'd appreciate your comments. And I do intend to overclock it but moderately and safely ;-)

motherboard: ASUS P5H DELUXE
processor: intel 6400
hd: seagate barracuda 320 gb
ups: corsair 520w
case: Thermaltake soprano
video card: 88000 gtx
memory: ???
cooler: ???

Hmm.. not sure whether the price market here reflects that of which you'll be purchasing, but that build looks strong so far.
Great mobo, great cpu, solid psu and hd. Case is subjective to your liking ;) and of course, the video card is a screamer. Regardless, that setup should last you quite a long time.

What i meant by the price market comment was that if ddr2 memory prices are relatively low in your market, you could definitely pick up some great d9 memory for a great bang-for-buck ratio and be reasonably well within your overclock limit. Even if you want to overclock mildly, those guys are amazing at doing so. Great memory brands include crucial ballistix, tracers, buffalo firestix, GeIL, Corsair dominators, OCZ, and of course the G.Skill HZs.

As far as cooler goes, i would go with either the Tuniq Tower 120 or the Thermalright 120-Extreme with a silent but good moving CFM fan such as the Noctua line or Scythe S-Flex, personally.

thank you :)

unfortunately my choices are more limited not only because some brands are more difficult to import but particularly because we pay a lot more here due to taxes. This soprano case, for example, costs more than US$ 250 here. Id certainly choose another if I could but a Silverstone TJ07 can costs as much as US$ 800.

I can purchase this Thermalright Ultra-120 at it costs less than US$ 150 here but couldnt find Tuniq Tower 120 yet, which looks really cool. Are they both compatible with my mb+processor?

You also suggested some fans that are not expensive but arent the ones which come with soprano good?

Finally its really easy to find different memories here but there are so many alternatives that it looks really confusing for me. For example, is this memory enough?
mushkin eXtreme Performance 2GB

or should I buy something like thispc8500?
