I tried putting my 8800GT to good use when I heard about the Chimp Challenge, but a combonation of a hot room + my PC-A05's poor airflow in the GPU area, temps inside my case where getting WAY to high.

I finally got around to cutting a blow hole in the top of my case and installing a 120mm fan to exhaust all that air out so now my GPU can fold full time! :)

not bad.. id try pushing the shaders to 1836 and see if it starts EUE'ing or not..but dont try doing a stability test with it at 1836.. because i know it wont work.. but it should work folding.. worth a shot.. also leave FAHviewer off.. it will cause your PPD to drop..
 
Yea I just opened it for the screenshot, I know its useless. I'll try and bump the shaders again and look for an EUE.

Had my shaders at 1835 and it was 100 percent good for folding. Caused some artifacting during gaming, but overall it was pretty darn good.

yeah some games are picky about the shaders and some aren't.. generally i find what the most stable shader count for gaming is and then folding and just switch back and forth using the profile shortcut options in rivatuner..
 
Ok, been folding all night with the shaders @ 1831 without issues. Gained roughly 300ppd.
