If you guys could help me out with a few final questions, that'd be great.

1) Is non-conductive fluid really necessary? I've seen you guys just use distilled water and anti-freeze, but since I'm a n00b at this, should I get it in case something happens?

2) When I fit the tubing and prepare to fill the system, this is the procedure, right? First you put on all the waterblocks and put the radiator and the pump in place. Then you put all the tubing in place, detach the waterblocks, and remove all the components from the case. Then you leak test for about 24hrs, if all is good, put the components back in the case, re-attach the waterblocks, and your done.

3) Does it matter which way the flow goes through the blocks? Since there are two barbs on each block, is there one barb specifically for inlet and one for outlet?

If you have any other pointer for a first time cooler, let me know.

Don't forget T-line maybe a y-splitter for Drain Line, and some worm drive clamps, and some good fans. I'm liking my L1A's right now....

I went with TDX and DD5 combo, $50 less than a D5 and storm...But the storm might get you that extra degree or 2.

Best protection is to leaktest the system, I'm just using distilled and anti freeze and I'm a newb, guess we will wee if I fry something and that will answer your Q :p

Yeah, I forgot to put the t-line on the list. If I do a drainport, should I just use a regular fillport, but use it in reverse? Like, have the fillport on the top of the case, and the drainport at the bottom rear of the case?

well, you don't really need to do a seperate drainport, you can use the fillport, just flip the case upside down when draining.

Your setup looks pretty good, but if you are going to purchase from a couple different stores, check the pricing on identical products. The TDX D5 combo is great and you end up buying from one retailer and you get a pretty good discount from the combo itself and dont have to pay shipping twice, but then again the storm is the best block out there. If you buy the Storm from PTS, then i suggest you buy the AS5 (cheaper) there and the gpu block there as well since they dont charge you an extra fee for the 7800 brackets. Alot of people around here tend to put Yate Loons on the BIP's so you can pick those up as well.

i personally really like the storm, but it outta my price range. Its the best block by far, especially in overclocking situations, but the TDX combo does looks rather tempting...
