Oh Damn, I didn't know there was another "Perpendicular Recording Technology" drive except for the 750gig model, and that's expensive yet this is only $99 for 320gb. I'm going to have to order two of those compared to the two 250gig WD drives that I was going to get for $80 each. I'm mostly interested in the claims of being more reliable.

I ordered a e6400 from club it with a Antec P180 case. I also plan to get the Gigabyte DS3 like you, and the same ram brand name.

But I plan overclock the best I can with the e6400, would the ram you selected be good for that, or better ram from G.Skill? I was looking at these sticks almost at the same price but with better timings:

Many have said here that GSkill seems to be good ram, would that be a good choice from that brand for overclocking?

Your build looks good except you are missing a hsf. Look at the scythe ninja or mine for that.

Heh, that's what I was thinking of too, even saw a review of it in the same case I bought that I mentioned already. Plus the review said it was super easy to install compared to other big heatsinks

Though, I can't find it at ZipZoomFly, ClubIT, Newegg, or TigerDirect.

Do you know a good place to order that heatsink from?

Didnt notice it didnt have a fan, it is possible to buy the e6300 with a stock fan right? (I wont be overclocking any higher than what the stock can handle, which ive read is decent)

If you buy OEM CPU that means white box, no heatsink/fan and possibly only 1 year Warranty. Buying "Retail box" means 3 year warranty and stock heatsink.

I think all the ones at TigerDirect are OEM. ClubIT has Retail and says instock, but of course Intel is forcing them not to ship until the 7th like everywhere else:

Your build is PERFECT. Almost every piece of hardware your getting I already have or I'm getting. I think it's the perfect budget build that has plenty of potential to be overclocked. I'm going to be getting the scythe mine for HSF because there's no retention bracket, works just as good.
