I know I've been posting about a new water setup for awhile and getting tips and such. But it looks like I can finally get it done so I thought I'd post a final draft before committing to the purchases. That and I still have two questions.

Pump: Swiftech MCP655

Block: FuZion Extreme Performance

Fans: Yate Loon D12SL-12 120mm

Fan Controller: Sunbeam Rheobus

Case: Antec P182 mid tower case. I have an Antec P180 and I love it, just need a more water cooling friendly version. The old P180 is now going to be used for my file server.

Now, my questions are thus:

I've heard that the better choice of radiators while using undervolted Yate Loons is the PA120.3. However I've been seeing a bunch of builds with the MCR320-QP-K or the like in lieu of the Thermochill. The price is certainly much more attractive than the Thermochill, but is the performance comparable?

The second question involves mounting the radiator. I don't want to mount the rad in the back of the case because the 8800 GTS spits out a bunch of heat that I feel will affect the cooling of the radiator. So a top mounting is my next option. Would using a Single 120mm Radbox mounting plate on the top of my case be sturdy enough to handle the triple radiator, or am I looking at another mounting option involving drilling into my case? What's the best way to go?

Thanks in advance.

That Thermochill radiator is about 25-30% better than the Swiftech. But, here's the thing... You could get away with a double radiator as it is already... You don't NEED the upgrade as it would only be removing extra heat you don't have.

The rad box would be sturdy enough. Also, yes, your temperatures would be somewhat effected by mounting it in the direct path of the 8800 exhaust... How much? Not much, but there would be *some* difference.

For anywhere in the world but the US. Thermochill wins in both price and price/performance. In the US, the price difference is rather large so you're often better just buying two Swifties IF you have the room. As I'm more inclined to keep everything internal, I've resorted to purchasing PA radiators for most of my builds.

The Radbox will work fine in that configuration. However, I'd suggest just directly mounting it to your case if it's going to be up top.
