Hey all, reworking specs for a computer, after receiving some advice, let me know what yah think of it now :D

CPU: A65 SD

Mobo: DFI

Gcard: 6800 GT

Scard: audigy

Case: cooler master

Heatsink/fan ( arctic silver 5 of course ;) ): thermalright and fan

Hard drive: local dealer 120 gig 7200 rpm

PSU: still looking ( will post in PSU forum for help, but feel free to give some 2)

Edit: opps, heres the link for the cpu

The link for the cpu returns the search results for all of the San Diego cpu's. Which one in particular? Everything else looks great. What memory? As for a psu, can't go wrong with the PCP&C 510SLI if you got the cash. Antec, Enermax, or Seasonic will treat you right also.

looks awesome so far! :D

also, the 510 would be overkill for a non sli rig. my clawhammer + 6800gt ran pretty well with an antec true430 with "24a" on the 12v rail (it actually said 20a on the sticker though)

personally, i'd look into an ocz powerstream or the 465w enermax that has a bunch of amps on the 12v rail

I suggested the 510SLI PCPC because of the SLI "hack" that can be done to the DFI board that was selected. It is kinda pricey, so if that's a concern, go with cheaper but reputable psu.

I love my PCP&C 510 SLI, but forget about a quiet computer with one they have a bad tendacy to be loud.

Do NOT get a no brand PSU or any PSU lower then 480W. Since Ull be getting a DFI 480 PSU is REQUIRED! this means that the only thing Ull get when in need of support is the answer - get a new PSU!

My advice is a OCZ Powerstream 520 or 600, A Fortron Blue Storm 550, a Enermax SLI 600 or a PCP&C 510 SLI

They are expensive but.

Also That Mobo is a tweakers MoBo and is VERY specific with RAM. Dont even concider putting Value Select in it and expect it to work. And when U load XP do NOT install the IDE drivers from nVidia.

Goto www.dfi-street.com to verify your build.

Looks Good. How about Antec Trupower II's? not to pricey atx 2.0 reliable.. :D

if you don't mind, i'll say that the powerstream420 is enough for any single card and cpu setup :D
