The wait is over! I've had some time for research and feel 85% confident in my selections, but I'm technically still a noob when it comes to a custom loop.

I plan to make the purchases within the next couple weeks, but if anyone notices anything out of place, please point it out to me.

CPU Block
EK-Supreme HF - Plexi-Nickel (EN)

GPU Block
x2 EK 580 GTX+ - Plexi-Nickel (EN)

Radiators
Black Ice SR1 480
XSPC RX240

Fans
Gentle Typhoon AP-15

Pump
MCP655 (variable)

Reservoir
EK-Multioption Res X2 - 250 Advanced

Fittings
Misc. Bitspower

Tubing
I planned on buying Primochill, but with the recent plasticizer issues I'm not sure which I'll end up with.

Main Concerns
-Will the pump be sufficient for this loop?
-Should I expect any problems combining rads from different manufactures?
-I know it's mostly personal preference, but I plan to use 7/16"x5/8" tubing/fittings. Are there any known issues I should be aware of when choosing this size?

System specs:
P8P67 - Pro 3.1, i5-2500K, 570 SC SLI, G.Skill 8Gb, Silverstone 1000w

I'm extremely excited to get this build started. I look forward to your suggestions.

Thanks

How are you connecting the tubing between the two GPU blocks?

If you're intent on getting an MPC655, I would get an aftermarket top for it. EK makes a top/reservoir combo you might be interested in, which would cut your fitting cost by 2 fittings. You could also go with a bay reservoir for that pump too.

The MCP355 with aftermarket top or 35X might be better suited for that loop if you aren't intending on running those GPU blocks in parallel because it can offer higher pressure.

There's a minimal difference in flow and a nearly immeasureable difference in temperature between 3/8 and 1/2 ID tubing, so get whichever you want. I personally prefer 1/8" wall tubing for its kink resistance, and because I prefer smaller builds (SFF or mini towers), I usually go with 3/8-5/8 tubing.

Is there any reason you're mixing radiator brands? There's no issue with that at all... Personally I like all my stuff to match so it would bother me, but if it doesn't bother you, go for it.

I will be running my GPUs in parallel using the BP crystal links.

I do plan to purchase a pump top for the 655. Most likely the BP mod top + mod kit.

The reason for mixing rads is due to limited space.
