This is the final build I'm close to clicking order on all these parts...
Just so you all know NOT all these items I'm buying from Newegg.com I'm just using the links as an easy access to see the product.

I don't know much about C2D compatibility and such (I am looking a build myself atm) but why is newegg charging $59.99 for the Freezer 7 Pro? I thought the msrp on the freezer 7 was only $29.99?

Just one hard drive?

Total cost, and can I have some money? :D

Yeah I'm only using the one 150gig then in time I'll just grab another.

Total from all the different websites I would list but would take quite some time... It's around $2,300.

Ummm... Free money? Well you can come do my dishes and polish my case with turtle wax for 4 hours and I'll pay you. LoL

I'm actually only paying like $31.99 for it. Like I said I'm not buying all my parts from Newegg.com I just use the site as a reference so people who don't know what the Model #'s are can actually see the specs.

That's a hell of a build. I have some of those components but your vid cards blows away my X1950Pro and you got the faster memory. Good luck with that, I'm sure it'll be fast as hell and stable.

you could save some cash and drop to a p965 express chipset based board instead (like the P5B-E or DS3), since you obviously don't need crossfire.

By the looks of what he's buying, I'm thinking cash isn't an issue..lol

It is an issue to an extent. I make a decent living I'm not like "Rich" even though that's my name so I am in a sense. LoL

I would have suggested to drop the Raptor and get a larger hard drive for the same price. The Seagate 7200.10's have the perpendicular recording and are as fast as the Raptors from what I heard.

I see that speed of ram as pointless on that board seeing as the mobo itself only supports up to ddr2 800...complete waste of money buying ddr2 1000, no?

Looks like a Bad Axe/Ass set up! ;)

Seriously those are all top of the line components.

The only things I would question would be the HSF & Vista.

HSF: Artic Cooler... there are several cooler/quiet heatsinks out there. Ex: Thermalright, Scythe & Tuniq.

Vista: the drivers and OS may need a few months to mature. I personally am planning on holding off at least 6 months and possibly a year!!
