I'm looking for fan filter material, preferably in black.

I have something like this in mind:

Anyone have any suggestions on where I can pick some up?

Panty hose works good, so does that green scrubby pad material for the kitchen. Fry's sells some filter assemblies that are black. Basically just find a porus material that will allow for airflow.

I'm using an Antec 1080AMG, the one with the side intake. Antec doesn't sell it filtered, which doesnt make sense to me, so I made a filter for it.

My material of choice? That metal gause stuff in reusable coffee filters. I cut it out of there, and both sides when assembled with a line of duct tape down the middle make a nice hexagonal shape.

I mounted it on the outside of the case over the grille so I could easily clean it and so it wouldn't rub against the fan. I sealed it with thin strips of duct tape. I'd send a picture, but I don't have a digital camera.

So ya, the metal mesh stuff in reusable coffee filters, check it out.
