So I cut a design out of a side panel a long time ago, and I do not want it anymore. I still have the piece that was cut out, so I was thinking hey maybe I can somehow put it back in there. Would bondo around the egdes work? As in using bondo to put the cut-out back in the hole, then sanding it off and re-painting. Would the bondo hold it in there?
 
Bondo alone won't hold it - you will need to maybe spot welt some metal pieces behind the main door and that piece and bondo the gap from cutting
