FIles not recognized on Mybook that was formatted on windows?

Is there a reason leopard will not recognize files that were placed on a mybook that was formatted with windows?

It will not even access MP3 files for me

Any help appreciated

Because you formatted it with a Windows File System.

Mac OS can read Fat32 and NTFS partitions.
