So I have a file sharing computer with Windows 7 for media purposes. I would install uBuntu, but I don't have time for it right now as I need 3 things running on it (PS3 Media server, uTorrent and Remote Desktop) and I'm too lazy to configure it... but with this problem I might have to, unless you guys can help.
Basically, the file server can't be seen by my Macbook or Android. It started happening last week and I haven't change anything, just updates.
My Windows based machines can connect to the servers fine, but when I try to mount the drives on my Macbook, it just gives a error that there's no such ip address on the network, same goes for my android tablet.
Only way to let them see the Server is to restart the server and I've had to do it daily which is starting to get annoying...
Any thoughts?
