File renumbering?

Is there any built in Win 7 feature to rename the photos you have in a folder to be sequential?

(1-687)? for instance

You might be able to use a batch file to do it. The easier way, though, would be to use something like ReNamer.

1. Press CTRL-A to select all the files (Or just drag your mouse to select all of them)

2. Press F2 to rename one of the files (Without unselecting the others)

3. All your files will now have a numbered suffix added to the names
