Fiio D07 DAC OK with Schiit Magni 2?

I want to get a Schiit Magni 2 and I already have a FiiO D07 DAC ($30 discontinued DAC leftover from when I needed Dolby decoding). From what I have read the quality of a DAC may lead to some small audible differences but I am wondering if this is really something I should be worried about or not for my purposes (gaming). I'd like to avoid buying another DAC if I can, particularly because I need optical in and my options there for something decent get fairly expensive. I use a HiFiMan HE-400i. Any insight would be appreciated.
