Fiber Refresher Documentation

About 3+yrs ago I completed a course in fiber optics since the school that was offering the course offered it for nearly noting. I though that some day it might come in handy for a resume. Well that time is now and I just need a basic refresher course on fiber optics. Since my initial training I haven't used fiber at all. So I am rusty and am just looking for a help webpage that will help me with the hardware and procedures used in fiber optics. My job doesn't require me to be directly related to fiber, but it is something that they wish for me to be knowledgeable about.
