1. whats the max vcore for my cpu. it says 1.55v max on the box. code: BX80532PG3000DSL6WK batch: L310A545. i have it at 1.625 at the moment, should it be safe at this setting for a long period of time, 24/7 usage? default vcore now

2. i have ddr v set at 2.8 , the rams timings are 2337. ive heard putting at 2225 can cause data corruption, any truth in that?

3. does the pci/agp lock also lock the SATA ? i have a SATA hd , wouldnt want that to be damaged.

4. need quick reliable tool that will stress my cpu to max. managed sandra, 3dmark 05, cs:s stable. gonna try p95 soon. but id like a tool that dont take all night to check stability.

finally heres the details of my shitty overclock:

227 fsb
5:4 ratio.
vcore: 1.625V
ram:2.8v
2337 timings

edit: tried it at default volts, all looks stable. forgot to put it back down after trying it at 3.60. heats why i cant go above 3.5 stable. with windows, door open it can be stable at 3.5 and almost stable at 3.6

1.625 is fine to leave it on. Don't go above 1.7v. I have mine at 1.675 and won't go over to 1.7.

I don't know about the data corruption thing but I know that the tighter you make your timings the less of a fsb overclock you can achieve.

After every overclock you want to do a minor stress test...either run 3d Mark a couple of times, play a video game, or even run some p95. But once you have what you believe to be your highest overclock, then run p95 for a long time..a day or so. You can also use the SETI program

ye, i think its stable at 3.4 with default volts. done few runs of 3dmark 05 and sandra. fine in cs:s and d3. gonna check it with prime overnight. room is smallest in house and has boiler in it, otherwise i think itd go higher.

hopefully with a delta and a fan controller i can hit 3.6
