This might not be possible, but if it is, it might be something the users would find useful.

Is it possible to replace the lasted on with a originally posted on type of field? Make it easier to find the recent deals as opposed to those bumped with "I got mine" type of things...

I think he's trying to say that he wants it so that threads don't go to the top whenever a new post is made. Maybe to do away with the mass bumping?
 
wow, and I thought I was being clear.

Instead of the last post column, would it be possible to replace it with an "originally posted on" column. So instead of when the last post was we can easily see when a thread was first posted.

In the forum view, not the thread view.

It could still be sorted by last post, just display the first post time.

Is that clearer?
 
Actually, that is a good idea now that I have deciphered it. It would even be easier if they were sorted by the date created and not by the replies. But, its a good idea even though I don't think it will be possible.
 
I understand now. I wish there was a default originally posted feature for some forums. Will not be changed any time soon. Working to get a major upgrade together.
