Well, I got my new installation of FC4t3 installed and running just fine. Now, I need to get BitTorrent working properly.
This FC release is using a lot of bleeding edge software, like the latest Python, wxPython, and GTK+ libraries, so I'm getting package compatibility errors.
So, I used yum
and it appeared to install BitTorrent just fine but I still can't get any torrents to start. I had several that I was working on under Windows prior to the Linux install, so I know the files are "good."
Anyone have any other ideas on if there are compatibility issues, etc.? Maybe I'm just not using BitTorrent under Linux properly.
I associated .torrent files with /usr/bin/btdownloadgui.py , but that just creates a zombie process.
Any clues?
thanks in advance!
