I am retracting my previous post about FedEx sucking..

They just got here like 15 minutes ago with my stuff.

Im happy now.

haha, newegg and fedex usually come through exactly like they say on the site, but every once in a while it seems like fedex screwes up a little.

Personally, USPS is on my shitlist. FedEx is cool. UPS is alright.

FedEX seems to get the packages here early of their projected date. UPS seems to be a spot on to their date. USPS, you're lucky if the package gets to you. A package shipped from CA to NV last January (on the 13th) has yet to arrive here, it's been about 30days. Bastages ...

I love Fedex shipments from Newegg. I can track the shipment at work and generally I get my items delivered the day after ordering.

I think I have gotten every FedEx package from NewEgg a day early. It's awesome. FedEx Rocks.

usually fedex does a great job, but there have been a few small screw ups. no body's perfect tho. for example, 2 day shipping from california - it got to east coast on time, and they accidentally put the package in the wrong truck (going to some county next to mine). they got it to me the next day, but you really gotta respect their ability to get most things to you fast. the numbers of things they ship each day has got to be incredible, i always wait a few extra days atleast before i even begin to question.

So, you started another thread previously to show you were extremely cocky and impatient....all for nothing and your stuff showed up anyway!!!!

For future reference, when you get impatient about a purchase...don't post here...go watch some pr0n or play with a woman until it shows up like the rest of us.

People either love or hate FedEx. This is because the residential delivery side of the company is completley different than the business half. You are at the complete mercy of the delivery man/woman. If they don't feel like delivering because its a little wet, they usually get away with it. UPS on the other hand is more consistant. Rarely are they exceptional but they very rarely screw things up either.

Hm.. I prefer USPS. It's reliable, or that's what I've seen/hear. (I'm talking about sending and receiving, not buying from newegg and etc)...

I can't stand USPS. A priority letter sent from Washington to Minnesota took *5* days. $4 for that shit? Please. I would never ship a box through them.

UPS and FedEx have never messed anything up for me...

FedEx indeed rocks. I live in Canada and I got an overnight shipment from Intel one time. Next day - at my door.

A bit testy? I can see what you mean, but dont get too uptight about it.

BTW, I guess Ill contribute to the thread. I love FedEX, theyve always been on time with my packages. I havent had a bad experiance yet.

fedex express = good and fast
fedex ground = good and slow
USPS = good and fast and cheap but loses shit
UPS = goes out of their way to break everything and is slower than giving my grandma the package and telling her to drive there with a treasure map

I ordered a Lian-Li PC-60 using UPS shipping it was 3-5 day shipping and it took 2 weeks and when it got here the Delivery Man droped the package on the edge of my steps bending the
side panel and bending my Mobo Tray

UPS broke my sony GDM-FW900(yes the 24" model) when i was sending it to someone. paid $50 for packing supplies from an authorized UPS shipping company to pack the 90lb monitor well. and still the box was messed up on arrival, and monitor was ruined.

then UPS blamed the packing company. the packing company blamed UPS. it was a sucky ordeal

FedEx -> No problems. EASY to get your insurance out of if the shit hits the fan,
UPS -> Break things. Good luck getting anything out of them too. Takes a lawyer to get them to pay up.
USPS -> They lost things, sometimes, but you can get the insurance from them pretty easy when they do.

I use FedEx and USPS./

Ummm.. what gave you that idea? Their express division is seperate from their ground division, but within those two there is no "residential" and "business" sections. The guy that delivers stuff to my door is the same guy that goes to the office park down the road. And they don't get away with not delivering if its "a little wet".

yaa, what he said

Luckily, I haven't had any problems with the shipping companies so far. Tried FedEx, UPS, Purolator, and Canadian Post.

All have gotten my orders in when expected with all shipments in good condition.

Since I work for FedEx, I am a little biased, but I personally wouldn't ship UPS if you paid me to. There is something about time definate delivery that I appreciate, and not having to constantly call on the scheduled delivery date because the package is still at the distribution center, not on the delivery truck.

One thing you have to watch out for is that some FedEx couriers don't really like delivering packages a day early, even if they are at the station and can go on the truck for delivery. Then you have others who are motivated and if the packages are there will get them out a day early. :) Much like most companies I would imagine.

Ordered a Tt Tiger 1 HSF for my 845G chipset from newegg.com, they charged me $4 for fedex saver, but still shipped it true FedEx 2nd day. BONUS!:)

Yeah I like fed ex and ups they are always on time with my stuff and if im not home they make more then an effort to get back to my house that day or the next day.

FedEx AND UPS have always been good to me. I have heard some horror stories about UPS though...

Lazy = not adding work address to credit card = no deliveries at work = missing all delivery attempts from UPS and FedEx = standing in line at 7:30pm waiting for packages:mad:

Amen to that. I have everything shipped to my work address. Second reason is the desk recptionist can sign for everything..so no packages are left at my house.

Well I was going to add something but this is just so damn perfect I leave it alone. I have shipped hundreds od shipments through these companies and this is spot on.

And no late deliveries, since they probably deliver there every day. ;)

I don't like UPS. But I dunno if I should blame that more on BZboyz. Either way I don't do business with either of them. I placed an order over a year and a half ago with them. After the supposed shipping date it took a MONTH to arrive. A friggen MONTH! Anyway Yea Never again.

Fedex has done me right 100% of the time!

--The man has a point. But thats why I don't use UPS anymore.
After recieving packages that had every concievable type of damage (about 2 weeks late too). Crushed, pierced, soaked, half opened, and dropped by my mailbox probably by the people who recieved the package that was misdelivered (since UPS didn't know anything about my finally recieving it); yea I don't use UPS and don't even buy from online retailers who use UPS.

FedEx is so awesome that my new Grado headphones arrived yesterday CRUSHED. I think they stuck the "blade" of a forklift through the box and into the phones.

We aren't even going to talk about what those headphones cost. At least the FedEx driver acted like he half-way cared when I told him how much they were worth.

Of course I refused the package, and the vendor I bought them from shipped me another set of cans today.

It sure would have been nice to have had them to listen to this weekend...

Yeah, FedEx is awesome...

Acidents do happen man, and with a company of around 120k US based employees there are bound to be a few careless dolts( a few of them work with me, whole 'nother story though). What you guys may not have known however is that we move the Postal Service's Priority and Express shipments from airport to airport. That is why I ordered something Wednesday morning, it was shipped USPS Priorty, and it was in my mailbox today. :)

I'm going to go out on limb here and guess that you work for FedEx?:D And when the careless dolts see a USPS box they try to misplace it to sabotage the USPS reputation, right? You should be ashamed:p :)

LOL! Well, sad to say, but we do kind of have the attitude of, "oh well, that was just a postal service box." sometimes.

I do think our main method of transportation(aircraft) necessitates better package handling though, as you can't just throw/stuff everything into an aircraft the way you can a truck. My best friend works for UPS here in Indy, and it seems like my worst horror stories regarding packages are an everyday thing over there. He was telling me last week that they play football with some of the smaller boxes. Worst thing I have ever done was pop the tube on a 24" trinitron CRT by dropping it. I felt horrible.
