Hey guys,

Specs as are in my sig...

I find at certain points the game slows down, like judders, when its not suppose too...

Anyone experience anything similar?

I notice although on max settings at 1280 x 1024 my dual core is used 60% and its only uses 1.4gb RAM....

As its not maxing out my system....Why at certain points not always is it sluggish?

All ideas and help would be most apprecited

Thanks in advance...

It slows down for everyone to some degree. The only explanation seems to be that the mappers did a poor job.

ahh i c....

i was 60% certain it cudnt be my system as I montiored cpu, ram and gpu usage and neither were maxed out, despite running the game at max settings...but thanks for the confirmation....

i just finished it....

great game :) freaky stuff...

shadows are still a killer with games, try lowering them a bit, you may see an increase in performace.

I remember the content on the collectors edition (or whatever it was) for the original FEAR, they were talking about the limits of the game, how many enemies they were allowed in one fight etc.

Judging by the number of enemies in FEAR EP I would say that has a lot to do with it, the mappers also went nuts in some areas like the rooms filled with blood.
