FEAR and Audio problems need help!!

running x-fi when i enable use HW mixing the 5.1 sounds allot better then when its not enabled but the only problem is my rear speakers are way louder then my front and center. like when i throw a grenade in front of me its a little boom but i throw a grenade in front of me then turn around its like BOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!! is this right.
