FEAR 3 Crash Problem

I've been waiting a solid year for FEAR 3 to be released, and surprise buttsecks, it doesn't run. I can fire it up to the menu no problem and play around with the settings, but when I try to start a new game it crashes every time without fail. I've tried all different sorts of things. Un-installing and re-installing the Visual C redistributable, installing the DirectX that came with the game, compatibility mode, toying around with the nvidia control panel settings...No dice. The game refuses to run.

Every time it crashes, it always seems to do it in the same spot. During the level one intro video, when Fettel says, "We were brothers. Blah blah blah. I was the favorite..." Then BAM! Most of the time, it will crash to the desktop, but twice it has crashed to the BIOS POST screen. No BSOD, just the screen goes dead as if It's about to fall back to the desktop, then I'm looking at "Scanning devices". I have never had a game crash my system like this before. I'm suspecting a driver related issue. Anyone else have this problem?

Doubt it. I did extensive stability testing at my current clocks (815/2100). Although I did read alot of people with the 5xx cards have this issue with overclocking.

I'm trying the 275.50 beta drivers now if that doesn't fix it I'll experiment with clock speeds next.

Are you overclocking your cpu at all?

Yes, but I found out what is causing the game to crash. It's SLI. Doesn't matter whether I run the card(s) at stock or overclock settings, or what video settings I'm using. As long as I'm running on one card, it runs fine (albeit at lower framerates...)

As soon as I enable SLI, even at minimum video settings and default clocks, the game will crash in this manner. I'm calling a driver problem on this one.
