Hello I just got the case and I basically love it except I find the side panel door EXTREMELY annoying to put on. Having it slide off is easy enough but re-attaching it is very cumbersome.. its hard to verbalize in words... its just not a smooth slide on at all... it takes me like over a minute holding it at different pressure points to re-attach the door.

Somehow this really bothers me, because thats one thing I thought would be easy as hell is taking the side panel on and off. Does anyone else have this issue with this case or is it just me ??

Apologies if this sounds more of a yahoo answers kind of question haha, I just don't frequent other computer tech forums because hardforum is the best.

I have only had a Define R5 for 1 day, it is just being used for a NAS box and I put most of the stuff into it last night.

I would agree that the door did not seem to go on as easy as I would like. I figured that maybe I just needed to learn how to line up the door properly and since I have only opened and closed it once thus far I can't really say for sure.

So my initial impression is that I agree with you, but other than that its a great case well worth the sale price I paid for it. I do not open it often so door complexity is not relaly something I care about.

Yeah I've had simlar issues. It's a nice case but it's definitely not perfect

Yeah its definitely a great case otherwise, I want to love it but.... haha.

And I thought the same thing, that I must not be aligning it right, but after many awkward attempts I don't think its me thats coming up short.

So I have had to open and close the case several more times and I have to agree it is a pain in the ass.

Considering I paid $88 on sale I really can not complain, but the doors should be redesigned for the next version. I am surprised none of the reviews I read pointed out how annoying the door is.

I like most everything else about the case, great number of hard drive mounts and cooling is enough for my needs. I have the Titanium version and the front looks better in person than it does in the photos
