Yeah...I bet [H] is the only one using the boring ones still...others have more 3d-like ones and animated ones and cooler non-animated ones...but you COULD do like me and just get a pic host to host your smilies and stuff since they are so small and small in size and just link to it...
 
I've seen other forums using the normal ones still. I prefer them to something jumping around my screen, that's just me personally though.
 
He's talking about the favicon... not the smilies-- the little icon in the address bar.
