Hey guys, having an odd problem with my pc. While in winXp various services stop working and sometimes the system restarts with no apparent reason. I thought my os was corrupt and formatted to no avail (services keep crashing and windows randomly restarts). I ran memtest86 and it found one error and the I ran memtest in winXp and found 14 errors. I found that odd so I ran memtest86 and memtest using only one ram stick at a time. The weird thing is that both programs ended up with 0 errors for every stick!

I'm thinking either the motherboard is bad or there's a problem with the bios but i can't tell since I'm not an expert and have limited knowledge on this area.

p.s
both voltages and temps are normal.
I use 2 sticks of kingston DDR2 and 2 sticks of cheap-no name brand (the chips have samsung written on them).

thanks in advance
Jim
