this may not be in the correct forum, but i am runnning a spare computer on a kvm switch. when i switch to it, the display becomes distorted. any reds become almost blacked out, and the entire color scheme looks blue-ish.

please help me!
card is showing as a ati 3d rage lt pro.

What happens when you connect directly without the kvm? You're giving the impression that this only happens with the kvm, so I assume it's the switch's fault.

sounds like one of the pins/connectors is either bent out of place or has something blocking it up. sounds like the fault is with the 2nd computer with the 3d rage, see if you can look to see if anything is stuck in one of those connectors... might be able to simply blow it out if its not wedged in there too tightly

it appears that all pins are accounted for, and i cannot see anything in the connector slots

very strange

my only other idea is maybe the drivers are corrupt for the 3d rage, try reinstalling/updating them.

other than that i'd say test out the 3d rage on a different monitor to see if you get the same funky colours... then you know for sure the vid card is messed up and perhaps might need to be repalced (if drive update doesnt fix it)
