Well the thread title says it all, PRIME 95 ERROR during Large FTTS (isnt that was memory uses and cpu is small ftts?)

:(

(Read this info im going to tell you my sig as well) Currently I Have AMD 3000+ Venice oc'ed to 2.6ghz. My Voltage is 1.59 V with 289 FSB X 9 Multi, 3x HT Multi with 7/10 Ram Divider to keep my RAM around 200mhz. Had this OC since September, everything is stable. I'm trying to push it higher to 2.7ghz. So I raise my HTT (FSB) to 300mhz x 9 multi with 3x HT multi (to keep it under 1 Ghz) and set my ram divider to 2/3 to keep my memory @ 200mhz. I also raise the voltage to 1.64/1.65 (i tried lower ones but I don't wanna go above 1.65) and I get this stupid error! It seems like after googling for a few minutes that this error is associated with the memory. But mentioned my memory is not OC'ed at all! Does the voltage of the RAM need to be changed after a while? I don't see why it needs to be. In the DFI bios I have all the memory clock speeds set to auto, which I think is 2-2-3-5 or 2-3-2-5 I forget right now. Should I set them manually to 2-2-3-5? Anything else in the memory settings that should be enabled/disabled? Again a lot of my info is in my sig.

I'm using the 6/23/05 bios from DFI and I have a DFI LANPARTY UT NF4 ULTRA-D Mobo. Oh Yah my PSU is the Xclio 450 Watt.

I ran this other test called memtest (NOT memtest86) and I stopped it @ 1200% with no errors. People familiar with this program will know what I'm talking about hehe.

I also checked if my voltage dropped a lot when running these stress tests. My 3.3 V Rail goes from 3.2 to 3.18 to sometimes 3.10 but then goes back to 3.2 and just changes periodically. My 5 V never changes. My 12 V rail goes from 12.03 IDLE to 11.97 when stressing, but then again changes between 12.03 and 11.97. So I think my voltages are fine?

Thanks for the Help! I hope I included everything you needed except some screenshots? I dunno lol. :)

one thing at a time, use a divider so your memory is not overclocked at all and jsut see what teh CPU can handle.

That error jsut means your CPU is not stable, try lowering the OC and see if you can get it to pass before OCing your memory...

Voltages sound ok to me, not good to have that fluctuation, but they are still within 4% of ratings... Not saying that you won't benefit from different PSU, but I would definately try other things first.

Yeah my memory is not overclocked at all. With my current overclock I think its @ 201/202 (a little over 200 lol)mhz due to the 7/10 divider but runs fine and with me using 300FSB I use a 2/3 divider to make it exactly 200mhz, so my RAM is not overclocked at all.

Its either 2 things. Memory or related to memory such as TIMINGS. OR CPU voltage. Its one of those. Either more voltage or less overclock.

Yeah I think I'm going to mess with the timings of the RAM. In the past I had everything on auto and things worked great. I don't see why changing it now would make me oc it more, but I'll give it a shot.
